Enhanced Operability and Data Management Function with 2 Additional Multi Reagent Strips.
SPOTCHEM D-Concept is a compact system that incorporates the dry chemistry technology and immunoassay measurement technology of ARKRAY, Inc. (hereafter, 'ARKRAY') The system consists of an operating unit and three measurement units (immunology, biochemistry + electrolyte, biochemistry + centrifuge), and the measurement units can be customized to suit the needs of the testing site. Each unit can perform primary screening for kidney function, liver function and lifestyle-related diseases, etc. by combining the measurement reagents.
ARKRAY released a new, improved operating unit as SPOTCHEM D-00 QR. The new unit features a handy bar code reader, that also performs 2-dimensional code reading, as standard equipment that had been previously sold separately. Since reagent information is stored in the unit by reading the two-dimensional code on the outer box of the special reagent SPOTCHEM D, calibration can be performed simply. Data can also be managed using the dedicated data management system in tandem with specimen ID. These new features will help reduce the work of medical staff. Furthermore, operator panel was redesigned to improve visibility and operability by adding instructions to the operation button area that previously featured only symbols.
Simultaneously with the release of the new operation unit, ARKRAY released two new Multi Reagent Strips (liver function and screening tests) capable of measuring multiple items such as renal function and lifestyle-related diseases using a single test strip.
ARKRAY will continue to develop products to accommodate the needs of medical institutions and testing sites and will propose various innovative operations.
○Easy operation
Dispense the sample into the container (for the D-01 system,
in the reagent packet) and set the reagent for the item to be measured in the device. All you have to do now is press the start button and everything from sample testing to printing the results is automatic.
○Improved operability
To improve visibility and operability, the operator panel was redesigned and instructions added to the operation button area that previously featured only symbols. The new design based on white tone of the unit imparts a feeling of cleanliness in the laboratory.
○Handy barcode as a standard feature
The handy barcode reader, previously sold separately, is now a standard feature of the unit and will assist in reducing the work of medical staff. Reagent information can be easily stored in the unit simply by reading the two-dimensional code on the outer box of the reagent.
○Multi Reagent Strip allows for testing by disease or use
Testing according to disease and use can be performed with a single test strip of 9 types of Multi Reagent Strips capable of measuring multiple items such as renal function, liver function and lifestyle-related diseases.
