Directed Toward Strengthening of Global Production Foundation and Production Expansion

Stock acquisition and business transfer from HOKURIKU ELECTRIC INDUSTRY CO., LTD.

ARKRAY, Inc. (Head office: Nakagyo-ku Kyoto-shi, President & CEO: Takeshi Matsuda) concluded a business transfer procedure today by signing a contract to acquire all outstanding stocks of the local legal entity in the Philippines, HDK Philippines Inc., owned by HDK Micro Devices Co., Ltd., a group subsidiary of the major electronic components manufacturer HOKURIKU ELECTRIC INDUSTRY CO., LTD. (Head office: Toyama-shi Toyama-ken, President: Shinji Tsuda). The contents herein provide a summary of the acquisition. By acquiring the business of HDK Philippines Inc., we shall accelerate the strengthening of our global production foundation and production expansion.

ARKRAY, Inc. (hereafter, 'ARKRAY') completed a stock transfer procedure today with HOKURIKU ELECTRIC INDUSTRY CO., LTD. for HDK Philippines Inc. (hereafter, 'HDP') and acquired all outstanding stocks. Following this, the business of HDP will be transferred to ARKRAY Factory, Inc.

HDP possesses advanced technical and production capabilities with experience of handling high precision sensors and modules. Moving forward, we plan to proceed with enhancing the HDP factory and conduct manufacturing of ARKRAY's clinical testing instruments sold worldwide.

ARKRAY shall continue to accelerate the strengthening of the global production foundation and production expansion, so as to further expand business.
